Indian Customer Needs


The Indian client in this collaboration has been deeply involved in the cable industry for many years and required a mini slitting line suitable for their production. At the initial stage of their collaboration with KINGREAL SLITTING, the Indian client clearly stated three core requirements: First, high production efficiency, requiring the rapid production of a large number of narrow strips with consistent width; second, a high degree of automation, aiming to minimize human intervention; and third, a compact machine size, as the overall line design had to fully consider space utilization due to limited factory space.

 

Design of Mini Slitting Machine


After understanding the needs of the Indian customer, the KINGREAL SLITTING team, taking into account the production characteristics of the Indian cable industry, officially launched the customized R&D work for the mini slitting machine. The KINGREAL SLITTING team delved into the Indian customer's needs, combining them with the material processing characteristics of the cable industry, and gradually refined the design details of the mini slitting line. The KINGREAL SLITTING team initially positioned the equipment as a fully automated, high-efficiency mini slitting machine. Considering the specific requirements for the thickness of materials processed in the Indian cable industry, KINGREAL SLITTING engineers ultimately set the processing thickness of the mini slitting line to 0.5-1.0mm, perfectly adapting to the cable materials commonly used by the Indian customer. At the same time, KINGREAL SLITTING engineers focused on optimizing the slitting accuracy of the mini slitting machine, enabling it to cut narrow strips as small as 12mm wide, with uniform width and smooth edges, fully meeting the Indian customer's product quality requirements. In terms of structural design, a compact design concept is adopted, streamlining redundant components and optimizing the machine layout. Without affecting performance, the size of the mini slitting machine is minimized to ensure it adapts to the customer's site conditions and doesn't occupy excessive production space. Regarding operational efficiency, based on the customer's production needs, the mini slitting line is designed with an operating speed of 120m/min and can produce 32 narrow strips at a time, significantly improving production efficiency.

The Indian customer highly approved of this solution, and both parties successfully reached a cooperation agreement, officially commencing the production and manufacturing of the mini slitting machine.

 

Mini Slitting Machine Trial Run


After meticulous manufacturing and rigorous testing by the KINGREAL SLITTING production team, the mini slitting line was completed on schedule and successfully entered the trial run phase. Since the Indian customer could not visit the KINGREAL SLITTING factory in person, the KINGREAL SLITTING team allowed the customer to participate in the entire trial run process via video conference. On the day of the trial run, KINGREAL SLITTING staff pre-adjusted all parameters of the mini slitting machine and made comprehensive preparations, then initiated a video connection with the Indian customer. First, KINGREAL SLITTING staff demonstrated the external condition of each component of the mini slitting line to the Indian customer, explaining the function, material, and advantages of each component.

Then, KINGREAL SLITTING staff started the mini slitting machine, showing the Indian customer its operational status in real time. Simultaneously, KINGREAL SLITTING staff demonstrated how to set and adjust production parameters, including slitting width and operating speed, via the PLC control panel. During the trial run, the Indian customer raised questions regarding the mini slitting line's operation procedures, daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and parameter adjustments. The KINGREAL SLITTING team responded quickly, and engineers patiently answered each question. The Indian customer was very satisfied with the trial run and confirmed their agreement to ship the mini slitting line.

 

Packaging & Shipping


After receiving the Indian customer's permission to ship, the KINGREAL SLITTING team immediately began preparing for the shipment of the mini slitting machine. The KINGREAL SLITTING team meticulously and professionally packaged each component of the mini slitting line according to strict export packaging standards for large equipment. Special attention is paid to protecting the precision components of the mini slitting machine (such as the PLC control panel and slitting blades) to prevent wear, rust, and damage during transportation. Simultaneously, double reinforcement of all mini slitting machine components ensures stable packaging, effectively mitigating damage from bumps, shakes, and collisions during transit.

Currently, this mini slitting machine, customized for an Indian customer, has successfully entered the sea transport phase, and the KINGREAL SLITTING team has assigned personnel to continuously monitor the latest developments in the transportation process.
